Dedicated to Equipping Teachers

My Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home, and knew as a young girl that I was a sinner and Jesus died for my sins.  When I was nine years old, and had just returned from GA camp, I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  I have continued to grow in my relationship with the Lord, but it wasn’t until I began studying Precept Ministry materials that I started to meet God in personal and intimate ways—ways that equip me and sustain me as well as rebuke me and restrain me.  My heart’s desire is to be pleasing to Him in every way.

Personal Information

I have been married to a wonderful Godly man, Bob, for 41 years and have two sons, Jeremiah and Joshua, as well as 7 grandchildren.  I enjoy backpacking, quilting, and cooking.  I am currently hiking the Appalachian Trail and have successfully completed 1600 miles, sharing God’s love along the way.

Ministry Experience

God has given each Christian two vitally important gifts. The first is the gift of faith in Jesus Christ, his work of redemption, and thus forgiveness of sin. The second is the gift of one or more special abilities, which are to be used for the purpose of unifying the body of Christ and for the growth of God’s Kingdom. These abilities, called spiritual gifts, are received through baptism. God has blessed me in many ways, and I believe he has blessed me with the gift of teaching. This gift enables a believer to communicate a personal understanding of the Bible and faith in such a way that it becomes clear and understood by others. Biblical References: I Corinthians 12:28, Matthew 5:1-12, Acts 18:24-48, Hebrews 5:12-14
